Hunting Resource Video Tutorials


The HR YouTube Channel continues to grow as new videos have recently been added. We are pleased to announce new tutorials as well as the first member hunt video clip to be posted on the channel; a spring gobbler bow hunt you definitely won't want to miss.

Additionally, our videos have been gaining more and more recognition of late. We are very honored to have been approached by the hunting editor of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation's "Bugle" magazine last month about posting our "Serving a Bowstring" tutorial to their website's bowhunting special section. Says RMEF hunting editor PJ DelHomme, "It was the best instructional video on the subject I found." Thanks a lot, PJ. We look forward to continuing to build upon the solid foundation that has been laid with this resource.

Announcing Southwest PA Region Bowhunter Ed. Classes

It seems that not a lot of hunters in the Keystone State even know about the "Successful Bowhunting" program offered by the PA Game Commission. Well, we hope to help change that. HuntingResource.com owner, Jeremiah Ross, attended one of the courses offered last summer and was so impressed by the curriculum and instructors that he decided to seek becomming a volunteer instructor for this IBEP/NBEF based program himself. Says Jeremiah, "I've been bowhunting for 20 years and was pleasantly surprised to learn a few new things in this class myself. The treestand safety portion alone is good, potentially life-saving, information."

As many may know, certain states and Canadian Provinces actually require such certification, in addition to basic hunter-trapper education, to obtain an archery license or stamp to hunt there. So, even if your state currently does not require you to certify in this area, it's still a good idea to consider taking a class.

The following is the 2010 Southwest PA Region Class Schedule.
